Based in Boston, Mr. Jones has an extensive background in advertising, corporate photography, and photojournalism. His diverse portfolio includes coverage of Central American conflicts, thirteen consecutive Olympic Games, and portraits of jazz legends such as Miles Davis and Charles Mingus.

With an academic background in physics and early experience as a rocket scientist at NASA, he transitioned to photography in 1971. His commercial client list includes IBM, Major League Baseball, National Geographic, and Nike. Additionally, he has documented major historical events like the fall of the Berlin Wall and the Million Man March. Most recently, he was featured as a mentor on the USA Network series, The Moment.
